Welcome to Sydney Truck Showdown (“the Event”), held at Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek, NSW.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and participants (“you” or “your”) who access, attend, or participate in the Event.
By purchasing a ticket, registering a truck, setting up a trade stand, or entering the venue, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Event Organiser
Sydney Truck Showdown (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is the organiser and operator of the Event. We reserve the right to manage all aspects of the Event, including entry conditions, scheduling, layout, and participation eligibility.
2. Ticketing and Entry
- All ticket sales, entry fees, and exhibitor fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Tickets or passes must be valid and presented upon entry. Duplicated or fraudulent tickets will not be accepted.
- The Event reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who fails to comply with these Terms or behaves in an unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful manner.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
3. Exhibitor and Participant Conditions
- All exhibitors, truck entrants, and trade stands must comply with Event setup and safety requirements.
- Vehicles must be displayed in designated areas only and operated in accordance with all safety and venue regulations.
- No engine revving, burnouts, or vehicle movement is permitted without prior approval from Event staff or safety officials.
- All electrical equipment, tents, signage, and displays must be secure and comply with relevant Australian Standards.
- Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring their displays and equipment are insured against damage or theft.
4. Risk, Safety, and Liability
- Entry and participation in the Event are at your own risk.
- You acknowledge that motor vehicles, heavy machinery, and associated equipment present inherent risks.
- The Event Organiser, venue, sponsors, and staff will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or theft arising from your attendance, except where required by law.
- You agree to follow all directions from Event staff, security, and emergency personnel.
- Any incident or injury must be reported to Event management immediately.
5. Insurance
- All exhibitors, vendors, and participants must hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance and provide proof of coverage upon request.
- The Event Organiser does not provide insurance for personal injury, property loss, or equipment damage.
6. Photography, Filming, and Media
- By entering the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by Event staff, media representatives, or authorised photographers.
- Images and recordings may be used for marketing, social media, television, or promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify Event staff at entry — reasonable steps will be taken, but we cannot guarantee full exclusion from all media coverage.
7. Vendor and Trade Stand Obligations
- Trade stand operators must comply with Event setup and pack-down times.
- No unauthorised sale or distribution of food, drink, or alcohol is permitted unless approved by the Event Organiser.
- All rubbish and materials must be removed from the site at the end of the Event.
- Power, water, and other utilities are available upon request and subject to availability.
If standard trade stand options do not meet your needs, please contact us — we will do our best to accommodate specialised requirements.
8. Weather and Event Changes
- The Event will proceed rain or shine, unless deemed unsafe by management or authorities.
- The Organiser reserves the right to change the Event date, schedule, or location if required by weather, safety, or operational reasons.
- In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, public health orders, or government restrictions), refunds or credits will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
9. Conduct and Behaviour
- Aggressive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour toward staff, participants, or the public will result in immediate removal from the venue.
- Alcohol consumption is only permitted in licensed areas.
- Illegal substances, weapons, and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
- The Event is a family-friendly environment — please act accordingly.
10. Intellectual Property
All Event branding, logos, photographs, and promotional materials are the property of Sydney Truck Showdown or used under licence.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute these materials without written permission.
11. Privacy
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
By registering or attending, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined there.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
